Grizedale Twilight Birch Trees: Tri-blend

We named this wrap after the glorious Grizedale forest, situated in the heart of the Lake district. It is a triblend, working out at around 45% combed cotton, 45% merino lambswool and 10% linen. There are 3 different types of thread in the weft; the fine coral linen, chunky orange merino and rust red cotton, creating interesting texture and colour-play. These are a heavier medium weight wrap (at just under 290 gsm) without being overly dense or unwielding. They are suitable for beginners to use, but have a distinct and individual blend of wrapping qualities to interest the ‘enthusiast’. . Grizedale uses a thicker version of the wool that we’ve used for Albus, Nebula and Juniper amongst others, so we know it will become soft floppy after a few washes and some wear.

Our wool wraps are very simple to care for, and for those of you who are new to wool we have some helpful advice in our blog post ‘An introduction to wool wraps‘ and information specific to US washing machines here.
