Our Bifrost Mercury Starmap woven wraps are a heavyweight 100% combed cotton, Synergy weave woven wrap with a soft grey face and a bright rainbow face to the cloth.

Synergy weave is a dense and sturdy cloth with lots of stretch and recoil. It is a great woven wrap for heavier wrappees yes still manageable enough to use with a small baby. All our cloth is woven in Lancashire, UK, and are wraps are sewn by hand here too!

This wrap was my first Firespiral purchase and I absolutely love it. At first I was a little intimidated by the gsm because my current wrapee is only 2 months and I did not want it to be to thick to use right now with her. I’m so glad I decided to purchase it because despite the higher gsm it’s perfect with her. This wrap feels medium in hand but is no where near to thick to use with my little girl. This wrap glides nicely and holds well with just a half knot. It is already so much softer with just a wash, dry, iron and wearing it daily. I also tried it with my 30lb toddler and he has never felt so light on my back. This wrap held him so well and the wrap felt so comfortable on my picky shoulders. If you’re looking for a 1 and done wrap I would highly recommend it.
