Dryad Sunset Seafoam

NZ$7.87NZ$352.27

56% cotton, 18% viscose, 16% hemp ,10% linen, 350gsm

Wrapping Qualities: Dense and blankety in hand, Dryad Sunset Seafoam has a fluffy softness after a few washes and a little wear. The viscose providing bounce and the linen and hemp a strong solidity. Dryad works well in both single pass and multi-layer carries and is great with heavier children.

Notes: Our original Dryad weft releases have been extremely popular so we are thrilled to have been able to get hold of this hard to find thicker, slubby viscose linen weft, used on both this release and our upcoming Dryad Cyano Seafoam release. This is the first release on our single gradation Sunset warp. The 3 colour grad goes from a lavender at the top, through a warm pink to a bright raspberry red at the bottom of the design.

Care Requirements: No special care requirements. Can be machine washed and tumble dried. Iron when slightly damp to stretch out after washing (the viscose tends to contract in the wash).

Prices include shipping to the UK.

I bought this wrap because of hearing so many good things about the previous dryad releases. I’ve tried several blends, and this wrap does not disappoint! When it arrived it wasn’t silky soft out of the bag, but it softened up very quickly with minimal use. It has now completely transformed into a beautiful, marshmallowy and cuddly wrap. It is undeniably dense and on the heavy side, but it is not at all unwieldy to use. The colours are vibrant, and I am finding the top to bottom colour gradient really helpful for learning new carries, especially ones with flips! In a simple ruck carry with a candy cane chest belt I can comfortably carry my 13.5kg toddler for about an hour. It doesn’t sag at all, but the viscose gives a bit of bounce which I like with my wriggler. It somehow holds securely whilst moving with your body rather than feeling restrictive. In short, this is an epic wrap!
